Just got to Santiago and checked into the ritz. Upgrade to Junior suite... Not too shabby

Valparaiso

Pleasantly surprised with the great view from the restaurant walking distance from our Inn in Valparaiso

Huaca Pucllana

The restaurant at the Huaca Pucllana ruins in the middle of Lima has a really nice restaurant with a view of the ruins.

Tanta

After having appetizers we walked around and ended up coming back to Tanta for dinner. 

Chicken wings and pasta with Peruvian flavors. Deliciouso!

Lima

Lima reminded us a lot of Bombay.

Pisco museum

Great selection of pisco based drinks at the Pisco Museum. Alongside with some of the local baked corn side that's very popular in this region.

Cusco tour

Our guide to the half day tour around Cusco was funny and knowledgable. He kept things very interesting with his mix of patriotism and mountain-folk wisdom.

Back to Cusco

After a great guides tour by Aida, we had a local pisco based Machu Pichhu drink and enjoyed some onboard entertainment on the train on the way back to Cisco.

Crossed off an item of both our bucket lists today. Also successfully hiked Huayna Picchu together for some fantastic views of tech Wonder

Treehouse restaurant has an English speaking staff and amazing food.

Shippu got very excited with the free wine and I rebranded this trip to 'The Pisco Sour Tour'

Aguas caliente

Small hillside village of Aguas caliente , named after the hot springs is the entry stop for the Machu Pichhu bus. 

Planes trains and cars

The 24hr journey continues with planes trains and cars.

Coming in for a landing at Cisco airport at 14000ft

Peru rail - vista dome train was very comfortable and had yummy onboard snacks.

Vacation time - Peru / chile

After many months of planning finally on the way to Peru and Chile. 

Shippu had a horrible neck ache, hence the weird Chinese green oil.

Cops airlines was actually pretty dam comfortable 

Got my ass kicked in connect four on the way... I rage quit after losing 5 games straight.
